Experience the rustic elegance at one of the grand western lodges designed for national parks in the 1920's. A National Historic Landmark, The Lodge at Bryce Canyon is the only lodge of that era to remain largely intact. The decor and atmosphere maintains that authenticity while tending to guest's comfort and needs.

The Lodge is ideally located nearby the canyon's rim and hiking trailheads. Guests are only steps away from scenic viewpoints, fine dining, shopping, and park programs.

The lodge is a non smoking property. All rooms have telephones, clock radios, hair dryers, coffee-makers, portable fans, and thermostat-controlled heat.

To preserve the lodge's rustic feel and experience, there are no televisions on the property, including guest rooms. No air conditioning is needed, as the mild climate in Bryce, boasts summer highs rarely in the 80's along with lows in the 40's and 50's. We do offer wi fi in the main lodge. (Coverage does not reach guest rooms.)

Our reservations policies are as follows:

To hold a reservation, a deposit equal to the first night's stay is required.

If you must cancel, please do so no more than 72 hours before the day of your reservation for a full refund.

We require a photo I.D. and credit card at check-in; although you may pay in cash at check-out, we do require a hold for incidentals.

We are not able to hold baggage, food, or any other items at the Front Desk.

Sunset Point & Sunrise Point Rooms

These two story, hotel style, rooms are positioned just steps from the rim. Newly-renovated, they provide contemporary comforts while giving guests an authentic western park experience.

These rooms are furnished with cozy lodge-style furniture reproduced from the original Arts & Craft era pieces used in the lodge. This oak and hickory furniture is all made in the USA from sustainable or renewable resources according to Forest Stewardship Council. The colors and patterns of the wool blankets are based on those used by this area's Southern Paiute tribe. They were custom-designed for The Lodge and are recognized by their label: Bryce Canyon National Park-The Last Sanctuary of Natural Darkness, and are available for purchase in our Gift Shop.

Rooms have either a king or two queen beds. Cribs and rollaway beds are available for a small fee. Up to five guests may be accommodated in the Queen rooms; three in the King rooms.

Rollaway beds and cribs are allowed. There is a $10 charge in all rooms for additional guests (over two). There is also an $11 charge for rollaways.

Guest Suites

There are four rooms available in the main lodge; three suites and one studio. These rooms are on the second floor, accessible by two flights of stairs. We do not have elevators, but a porter is always available to assist with bags. These units do not have a view of the canyon.

The three queen suites have a private bedroom with a full bath and a sitting room with couch, chair, coffee table and end tables, and a refrigerator.

Guest Studio

Located on the second floor of the main Lodge, the Guest Studio is smaller and offers one queen-size bed, full bath, ceiling and oscillating fan and a coffee maker.

Western Cabins

Our historic western cabins combine cozy beds and a gas log fireplace with rustic features like open beams and lodge-pole-pine walls. Located in-between the main lodge and the rim, the cabins are organized in groups of two or four with a connecting door if desired.

Each room has two queen beds and can accommodate up to four guests. Because of fire code requirements, we cannot place a rollaway or crib in these rooms.

Important details:
Cribs and rollaway beds are available as well as a guest laundry facility. Children 16 and under stay free when sharing the same room with an adult and utilizing existing bedding. In keeping with the spirit of allowing visitors to enjoy a peaceful experience while taking in the beauty of Bryce Canyon National Park, TVs are not included in any of the rooms.

Pets:
Other than service dogs, pets are not allowed in any of our guest rooms or the main lodge. Dogs on a leash may accompany owners to the General Store porch. Contact the Front Desk for a list of nearby kennels.

We "rock" on the environment!
As part of our Forever Earth Program we encourage each guest to utilize the recycling containers which have been provided in their rooms and also in the public areas. In Bryce Canyon National Park we work with the National Park Service to recycle glass, newspaper, and plastic and encourage each guest to reduce their energy and water use by turning off lights and water when not in use to ensure the further protection of our resources.
